Day 10: Demon Bake Off Page 1
almost 7 years ago – Fri, May 31, 2019 at 08:07:29 PM

Here it is! There's still some temporary things in here, like the poster in panel 1, and the robot color and hair. I'm already liking the new shading I did better than the soft brush, but anyways.

Next up I'll be storyboarding and roughing out the number of pages for Clown Tag. It's still in writing, so I'll see how far I get, any estimation is great for me to tell you how many pages will be in the book!

Liking what you see? Be sure to drop some feedback below!

Let's hope there's some new backers checking it out tomorrow! I'd love to be able to hit a stretch goal after showing what can be found in the comic.

Day 9: Demon Bake Off Page 1 WIP
almost 7 years ago – Thu, May 30, 2019 at 08:34:44 PM

Hey all!

Looks like today we're sitting at CA$ 1,500 pledged, which is 118%! Just $500 to the first stretch goal of $2,000 which includes and extra page for Kickstarter backers to vote on, and a quality upgrade to the physical books!

Below is a WIP of the first page of Demon Bake Off! That first panel is blank because I have to design and add in the Poster for the "room" during production. I also have to color and shade and texture these panels so the lineart may look simple, but the finished product will be awesome!

I hope fans of The Costume Shop are excited to see Umbra in this comic! His over the top anatomy is fun to draw and contrast against the big wide bellies of the Clown sections.

Are you enjoying what you're seeing? This page should be completely colored tomorrow and then I'll start working on the page count for Clown Tag which is easily going to be more than 25 pages!

Day 8: Demon Bake Off Page Count
almost 7 years ago – Wed, May 29, 2019 at 05:38:05 PM

As you can see in the image below, I'm done roughing out the pages for the first story, Demon Bake Off. And I'm happy to tell you this bad boy is going to be...

20 Pages long!

To put it into perspective, Clown Chaos was 13 pages, and Throne Of Anubis was 12 pages. That's more than 7 pages longer than Clown Chaos!

And at the rate the writing for Clown Tag is going, it's definitely going to be more than 25 long! That's Clown Chaos and Throne of Anubis put together!

The first thing I'm going to do from here is draw the first page of Demon Bake Off! to show you and potential future backers here. Then I'm going to start roughing out Clown Tag so I can give you a final page count on that as well.

STREAM TOMORROW

I'm going to be on Stream tomorrow while working on Demon Bake Off so you can see how it gets made, and chat along! I also MIGHT be doing a request stream so be sure to stop by for when I ask for suggestions!

Day 6: FUNDED! Stretch Goals
almost 7 years ago – Mon, May 27, 2019 at 10:47:33 AM

I cannot find the words to express my gratitude to my fans. Every day they offer me the support and friendship that fills my heart with positive vibes, and faith that my choice to work on adult comics is not a horrible decision. I am drawing stuff that makes me feel joy and laugh on occasion. I get weird requests that I am so excited to draw, and the people who have supported me on Patreon, or chat with me on Discord help me bring these visions to life.

Funhouse Of Frights started from a very bizarre concept, and then role-playing and collaboratively writing almost all of the stories you have seen online and in the book. Without them understanding that vision and helping me move it along, I don't think I'd have come up with all of this by myself. They push me to do better and crazier things, and people like my Kickstarter backers respond by seeing my passion, wanting to support, or just wanting to see some absurd adult gay comics.

I have 17 days left in the Kickstarter to take it even further and do even more, and I look forward to showing you what comes of it! This Funhouse doesn't have an exit until you are ready to leave, and for now, I can't wait to explore more rooms.

Be sure to share around the link to the campaign, everybody who backs $1+ will get to see WIPs and updates, and there will be the chance to add on more later on in the campaign.

The first stretch goal is $2000 which will be a quality upgrade to the printed book, as well as a second Kickstarter Backer voted comic page.
